High Stakes Poker Coming Back to Television
February 14th is an important day and not for what you may be thinking. Of course it is Valentine’s Day but it is also the day that the sixth season of High Stakes Poker is back on the air. Titan Poker Working to help Haiti
Titan Poker is joining the many other online gambling operators to help bring relief to the earthquake stricken Haiti. Many online poker rooms have held special tournaments to raise money for the cause and Titan Poker will be holding a special tournament this Sunday. TheFreePokerRoom is a free online Texas hold’em multi-player website and they recently announced the launch of their first ever Team World Poker Cup. The event will offer teams from sixteen different nations the opportunity to compete for the title. (12/01)

DTD Deepstack won by Hassan Irfan
The first £300 monthly deepstack event of 2010 took place this past weekend at Dusk Till Dawn and for the first time ever the event had an overlay. Only 227 players registered to compete so the poker club had to add £11,900 to the prize pool. (05/01)
PokerStars New Online Poker Team Announced
PokerStars, the top online poker room, has been searching for online players to be a part of their Team PokerStars Online. The site has been searching for two months through applications of over 2,000 poker players to pick the right people for the team. PokerStars Sunday Million Tournament Results
This past Sunday the PokerStars Sunday Million saw a very good turnout of players which created an increased prize pool. The tournament had over nine thousand players competing and with the buy-in set at $200 plus 15, the prize pool was increased to $1,868,800. (29/12)
Allen Kessler Wins 2009 Bayou Poker Challenge
The Main Event of the 2009 Bayou Poker Challenge finished up recently and eighty players registered to compete this year. The tournament was a three day event with a $3,000 plus $120 buy-in. the prize pool up for grabs was $221,798 and it was Allen ‘Chainsaw’ Kessler who came out the victor. (22/12)
WSOP 2010 Details Released
Details of the 2010 World Series of Poker schedule have been released and it could not be soon enough for die hard poker players. The highly anticipated poker series is set to begin on May 27th and continue until July 17th. (18/12)
