Aisling Collins Wins PartyPoker Women’s World Open
The PartyPoker Women’s World Open poker tournament ended recently in London and television producer Aisling Collins outlasted the field of tough competitors to take the first place win of $50,000. Several international poker players competed in the event and Collins had to face Kim Wooka in heads up play to take the win.This is the largest poker win for Collins whose highest earnings from poker tournaments had reached only $8,000. Collins she was very happy to win the tournament and she was in shock. She commented: “It is fantastic to win $50,000- I just don’t know what I am going to do with it yet. I was nervous going into this tournament but after a while I found it easy to relax and play my natural game.”
Bluff magazine has stated that the seven heats and the final of the PartyPoker Women’s World Open will be televised on Five later on in the year so everyone including Collins can watch the competition and see her take down the first place prize.
