After cashing in the 2008 Aussipoker tournament, 22 year old American Jason Potter was attacked by someone police think stalked him from the casino after he cashed out his chips.
Jason Potter, a poker pro from Oklahoma battled to a 31st finish in the tournament and went out looking for a snack after the tournament.

After a meal at McDonald’s, Potter was returning to his room at the Crown Plaza around 4:30am. Jason claimed, "I had already been home to my hotel room but decided to go out and get something to eat because I was hungry."

"I heard someone running resolutely behind me. As I turned around I just got knocked on the back of the head. I fell down and this guye Millions reached immediately into my hooded pocket," he recalled.

The robber, who had a knife, made off with the cash in Australian and US $100 bills.
"I thought about trying to fight him but I thought no amount of money is worth it," he said. Jason is convinced the attacker was a previous at the poker tournament at the casino. Potter was naturally shaken after the incident but not injured.
