BetFred recently announced a special poker tournament series that will take place over the next few months. The Poker Summer Tournament Series will take place now until the end of August with BetFred adding more than $43,000 over the series.

Players at BetFred can enter the tournaments during the series for as low as one cent and each week up until the end of the tournament players will find up to $1,500 added to the tournaments at BetFred. The series launch is coinciding with the launch of BetFred’s new poker sub-section.

To participate in the series players need to compete in a poker game at BetFred and earn at least 1,000 points. These points can be used to buy-in to the weekly tournaments. The weekly tournaments take place on Friday evening at eight o’clock. The weekly tournaments will also be re-buy tournaments with players starting with 1,500 chips and a minimum blind of ten.
