Only five hundred and thirteen players paid the $109 buy-in to compete in last Sunday’s $100,000 Guaranteed poker tournament at Bodog. The top prize was worth $25,000 and it was online player jjjj who took home the first place prize.

Jjjj is a regular at Bodog and has had success in the smaller tournaments over the past couple of years. However this was his biggest pay day to date. He has made the final table of the $100,000 guaranteed tournament but only won $9,000 for his efforts in the past.

But this time luck was on his side and jjjj was able to beat online player Ozone23 in heads up play to take the first place prize. Ozone23 earned $15,000 for his second place finish but I’m sure he would have rather had the $25,000 first place prize.
