Doyle’s Room Makes Move from Microgaming to Cake Poker
No official announcement has been made by Doyle’s Room to state that they are leaving Microgaming to move to the Cake Poker Network but all signs point to the move. The online poker room recently sent out emails to clients that stated ‘sweeping changes were on the way’ and yesterday Doyle’s Room had a disclaimer on the bottom of the home page that read “Cake Poker Network Partner”.

However the online casino represented by Doyle Brunson, the same Doyle of Doyle’s Room, still has ‘powered by Microgaming’ on the bottom of the home page. If Doyle’s Room has made the move from Microgaming then it would mean that United States players can now resume play on the poker website.

Back in November Microgaming made the decision to deny United States players as a result Doyle’s Room could no longer have United States players added to their site because they were run by Microgaming. The decision made by Microgaming last year was a result of the Kentucky domain case seizure. It was just last week that the Kentucky Court of Appeals ruled the state could not seize the online gambling domains because they were not considered gambling devices.

Joining the Cake Poker Network will be great news for Doyle Brunson fans in the United States as well as players who want to play poker on the website as they would now be able to do so. Hopefully the poker room will make an official announcement soon.
