Hard Rock in Vegas adds Premier Poker Lounge
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada has added the first ever Poker Lounge to the sin city. The new Poker Lounge has several features that make a player feel like they are in a night club rather than a poker room. The new Poker Lounge has 7,000 square feet and cost $30 million to build. The Lounge features eighteen poker tables that include five private high limit tables. The Lounge will have its grand opening later this month and visitors will see the one of a kind features the Lounge has to offer.
The Hard Rock Poker Lounge will be the only poker lounge to have a full bar and bottle service for players inside the venue, a full menu of food choices available 24/7, kiosk for sports betting, RockSpa certified masseuses, all female VIP host staff educated in poker, high-limit slot and video poker machines, private rooms with large screen TVs and iPod docs-which can be used for bachelor parties, private events and tournaments.
Other features include: safety deposit boxes, team poker for local groups, special poker lounge comps, and men’s and women’s bathrooms. All of the above features are located and take place within the Poker Lounge.
The Hard Rock Poker Lounge will also be using the Genesis Reservation System, which will text a player anywhere on the property to let them know their name has been called. This service has not been utilized at any other poker room in Vegas.
"We have brought in world-renown poker managers, dealers and players in the industry including Houston Waldie, Steve Cyr, Jimmy Miller, Steven Braverman and Blaine Goodwin to kick off the only Poker Lounge in the city," said Steve Cyr, Hard Rock's Poker Lounge marketing manager. "Hard Rock likes to push the envelope when it comes to entertainment, so the Lounge will be no different."
