This month Hollywoodpoker.com has raised their Grand Tournament guarantee by a generous fifty percent to 750,000 for players. The decision was recently made by HollywoodPoker.com due to the rise in popularity with The Grand Tournament. For example, in December The Grand XX Tournament brought in over 846 players, bringing the total prize money to 846,000 with the last player sitting bringing home around 200,000.

The grand is one of HollywoodPoker.com's most affluent tournaments in its always line up. The Grand is held on the last weekend of every month beginning on Fridays. This month' tournament will be played with the normal 3 day flight structure held between February 22nd through February 24th, starting at either 14:00EST or 19:00GMT.

The Grand Tournament is a no limit Hold'em event freezeout "flight" with a starting rack of 10,000 chips and the blinds are raised every thirty minutes.
