The inaugural India Poker Tour will take place in the Fall. This is going to be a major event and it will host four exciting tournaments that will attract some of India's and the world's best players to compete for their part of the expected $1 million dollar prize pool.

This will be the first ever poker tour that will be hosted in India and the event is sure to increase the popularity of the game in India. With the success of the Indian players in last years Asian Poker Classic the idea is to ensure that poker is developed in a professional manner. The India Poker Tour organizers have been developing poker in India for a while and have a record for delivering successful events worldwide.

The tour is set to begin in Mumbai in September and then will stop in Bangalore. The third event will happen in Delhi and the Grand Final will be held in the coastal state of Goa.
