IveyPoker adds James Dempsey
IveyPoker is an online poker training website that was created by poker pro Phil Ivey. Players will be able to learn the game of poker as well as play the game at the site and Ivey has been busy over the past few weeks, recruiting players for the team. Ivey has already signed Patrik Antonius, Jennifer Harmon, Cole South and Greg Merson to the site and it was recently announced that James Dempsey has joined the site as well!

The site is still a work in progress but Ivey is trying to line up the best pros to help players learn the game. The site is reportedly in the final stages of development and will see pros training players via a variety of content options.

Ivey has stated that he wants to use the site to help teach the world how to play a better game of poker. he will be using the instructors to provide the correct way to play the game. Dempsey was chosen for the site because Ivey believes that he can contribute to this process. Dempsey is just thirty years old and spends most of his time between London and Brighton. The player has played the game for over ten years and has seen great success.

Dempsey started out as a full time player online but then switched to live poker just two years ago. He found great success in tournament action as well as with cash games in Las Vegas. The player has earned almost $2 million in live cashes and has one WSOP bracelet and one WPT championship win. Dempsey is a top pro who specializes in Omaha and Omaha hi/lo.

Hopefully the Ivey site will launch soon so players will have the opportunity to learn the game from the best in the business. As it seems, the site may not be ready until 2013, but hopefully very soon!

We of course think that our online poker guide features the best internet poker rooms available but if you are interested in learning more about this card game then Wikipedia has a number of pages about it, including Texas Holdem rules and hands. They also feature information on most other kinds of leading poker games. If you are interested in poker rakeback then Rakeback.org has it covered quite well.
