Ladbrokes Goes 3D
Ladbrokes, online poker site has released its new three dimensional world this week. They are the first poker site to go 3D and have showed players glimpses of what was coming in the last couple of months, now it has officially launched.In a press release Ladbrokes MD of eGaming John O'Reilly said, “This is a major step in the convergence of video gaming technology and online gaming and we're pleased to be the first leading poker site to go virtual."
Ladbrokes players will have the option to play in 3D or not. Poker players will be able to choose their own avatar and customize the physical characteristics, players can choose to have the avatar look like them or choose from an array of eye colors, hair color and facial features to make someone totally unique. They also offer a ‘freak’ version where you can choose from some wild and crazy characters. The avatars come complete with facial gestures and body gestures to perform fake tells, you can even perform some chip tricks.
The best part of entering into a 3D virtual reality poker world is the feeling of actually being involved in an online game that feels like a real poker experience.
