Mike Sexton, will emcee the first ever charity poker tournament and live auction benefiting them Paralyzed Veterans of America organization. This organization founded in 1946 is dedicated to assisting the needs of veterans with spinal cord injury or dysfunction.

Also serving as honorary committee members for this event will be former Senator Robert Dole, talkshow host, Montel Williams and NASCAR legend, Richard Petty.

Tickets which include a seat into the poker tournament and the invitation to the reception will cost $1000. For non-poker players tickets in the gallery will be $250. There were also be sponsorship opportunities, which will range from $10, 000-$100, 000.

The winner of the poker tournament were received a seat into the WPT LA Poker Classic, a pass for Richard Petty driving experience, as well as trips to Las Vegas and Orlando, Florida with four tickets to Disney World. Each trip will include round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations.

The event will be held at the February 5 at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC. The reception to this charity poker tournament will begin at 6 p.m. with the poker tournament it self starting at 6:30 p.m.. Besides the poker tournament, the event will include a poker clinic and dinner.
