Online Player twenty305 Wins WCOOP Event #35
Event #35 of the 2009 World Championship of Online Poker was a $320 pot limit Omaha high-low game. The tournament offered a guarantee of $500,000 and 1,567 players logged on this past Wednesday to compete.

Several PokerStars pros competed in this event to support their poker room as well as finish in the money. Those competing were: Ylon Schwartz, Chad Brown, Ander Akkari, Jason Mercier, Ivan Demidov, Bertrand Grospellier, George Danzer, Juan Maceiras, Lex Veldhuis, Chris Moneymaker, Gavin Griffin, Katja Thater and Noah Boeken.

With all the above pros competing you would think most if not would finish in the money, but it was not to be. Only two pros would finish in the money, Jan Heitmann and Victor Ramdin. Heitmann took 177th place and Ramdin took 100th.

The winner would be unknown online player ‘twenty305’ who came from behind to win the first place prize. The winner was part of a four way deal toward the end of the competition. The deal left $10,000 on the table or the players to compete for.

So when the dust cleared, twenty305 took home $59,352 and the title while drkamikaze1 earned $47,494 for second. Lukaluka05 earned $62,276 for third while Mungy earned fourth place and $48,751.

We of course think that our online poker guide features the best internet poker rooms available but if you are interested in learning more about this card game then Wikipedia has a number of pages about it, including Texas Holdem rules and hands. They also feature information on most other kinds of leading poker games. If you are interested in poker rakeback then Rakeback.org has it covered quite well.
