PartyPoker Makes Changes to Online Game PlayPartyPoker has made even more changes to their online poker offerings, just a short time after doing away with processing fees for many withdrawal methods. The site has introduced the first steps of a new plan to help create a level playing field for every member of their site, no matter the skill level.
The first step is to limit the use of third-party software used for tracking during online poker game play. Seating scripts access will also be limited. The site also looks to improve the ecology for players online, providing a better recreational gaming environment.
The sites like PartyPoker are looking to do away with such tracking software as players with less skill can be taken advantage of. Players with more poker know-how will use their skills and software access to find the weaker players and prey upon them for a quick win.
Golan Shaked, the PartyPoker Games Director, stated that since the online poker room announced their plans to restrict the usages of third-party software tools, the company has seen a nice response from the gaming community. The first of these changes have now been put in place to begin leveling the playing field for every taking part in online poker game play.
With these first steps, players who take part in cash gaming will be able to join a waiting list that will be room-wide. Players will then be randomly seated after a spot that matches their particular presence is opened. Players will only be able to see the name of their competitors when the hand is dealt, making it impossible for players to pick and choose their opponents.
The second phase of PartyPokerís plan will begin in the coming weeks and will consist of a prohibition of hand history downloading and making the hand histories only available in the gaming software.
