It has just been announced that up and coming poker player Peter Jepsen has signed a new sponsorship contract with Ladbrokes. Jepsen is joined at Ladbrokes Poker with his friend Jonas Danielsson as the new faces on the poker websites team.

Jepsen saw his biggest win of over $400,000 at the EPT Warsaw event in 2007. Jepsen also did well at the $6,000 No Limit Hold’em Event at the Caribbean Poker Classic in St. Kitts. In the official Ladbrokes statement it read that Jepsen is “a perfect figurehead for Ladbrokes” and commented on his youth, ambition, motivation and his toughness as an opponent.

Ladbrokes Poker Managing Director, Edward Ihre also commented on the deal stating: “Peter Jepsen was our favorite for our next sponsored Danish player and we are very delighted to have received his signature. Peter is one of the best online players in Europe.”

The contract between Jepsen and Ladbrokes will officially begin on January 1st 2009. Jepsen will then begin sporting Ladbrokes gear at live events as he represents the company for the next year.
