Phil Laak to attempt World Record
World records are being attempted on a pretty regular basis in the poker industry and sometimes a record is made without anyone actually doing anything. Recently poker pro Phil Laak announced he is going to try and break the record for most hour soft poker played in one single sitting. Paul Zimbler previously set the record last fall.

Zimbler was able to play 78 hours of poker straight and now Laak is going to attempt to play even more. Laak commented: I have played many endure sessions of poker, but never anything of this magnitude. I know this will test my limits but I love a good challenge and am excited to be trying to beat this record in Vegas top poker room.

Laak will be making the record breaking attempt on June 2nd at the Bellagio in Las Vega. Laak will also be trying to raise money in the process for Camp Sunshine which is a charity that helps children as well as their families when the child is faced with a life threatening illness.
