Bluff Europe, a poker publication, recently announced the upcoming Poker In The Park festival will be endorsed by GamCare, the British registered problem gambling charity. The festival is set to begin in August and Bluff Europe is working with GamCare to make sure the festival is a safe environment.

The festival is set to take place on August 13th and 14th with several poker pros coming to the event. the pros will be at the festival to talk about the game as well as sign autographs and take pictures. Those expected to attend are: Neil Channing, Ian Frazer, Nick Persaud, Paul Jackson and Kara Scott.

Michael Caselli, the Editor-In-Chief of Bluff Europe commented: “it is of pinnacle importance that Poker In The Park promotes poker as a safe and enjoyable activity for everyone who attends. Thus, for the third year in a row we have invited GamCare to participate in this fantastic event. we want to make sure that every poker player knows about GamCare and knows that they are an integral part of the poker fraternity.”

GamCare offers advice, help, support and counseling to help address the social impacts of gambling. The organization is a non-profit and they take a non-judgmental approach to helping those who need help. The group will be handing out leaflets and offering advice at the third annual Poker In The Park.
