The Daily Mirror, a weekly publication in the UK, and top online poker room, PokerStars, have teamed up to bring poker players new low stakes tournaments and free rolls. The tournaments will be offering players fantastic prizes for those who finish at the top.

The weekly tournaments will be played in a league format and will feature a player of the month award. The prizes will include cash and a trip to the World Cup in South Africa next year. The tournaments will have two divisions: the Championship and the Premier.

The Championship division will be a weekly $100 free roll and the Premier League will be a buy-in tournament that costs only $2. The players that earn the top scores in each league each month will be entered into the Grand Final. The Grand Final will take place in May 2010 and the winner of the Grand Final will win the trip to South Africa to the World Cup.
