PokerStars signs new players to online team
PokerStars has a ton of poker pros that are sponsored to represent their site. The online poker giant recently announced they have signed even more players to their existing Team Online. Poker players were able to apply for a position and the online poker room saw over 4,500 players vying for a coveted spot on the team. PokerStars has announced their new additions and the total comes to fifteen.

The fifteen players come from eleven different countries and they will be bringing some new flavor to the online poker site. One of the players to make the team is Mer “PeachyMer” Brit a high stakes player that is regular to the online tournament scene. She is the only female to make the online team.

Another player added is Shane “shaniac” Schleger another known tournament player. Shane competes regularly online and has earned over $1 million in career earnings on the live poker circuit. Two other known players are Jorge “Baalim” Limon and Mikhail “innerpsy” Shalamov. Limon is from Mexico and is a cash game player. Mikhail is a former record holder having played the most hands in one day, for a total of 40,088 hands.

Also making the team was Andrew “foucault82” Brokos and Clayton “cnew27” Newman. Newman has earned over $1 million in tournament play and Brokos played well in the 2008 WSOP main event and has played at PokerStars as well.
