This past Sunday PokerStars had a great showing of players register for the Sunday Million. Among the players was Isabelle “No Mercy” Mercier who outlasted the field and took third. It was online player Zimmy41 who managed to outlast the pro and take the first place prize.

The buy-in for the Sunday Million is $200 plus $15 and with 7,712 players competing it generated a prize pool of $1,542,400. 1,170 places were paid so everyone was trying to finish in the top ten if not the very top spot.

Three way play would begin soon after final table action started. Mercier would be up against online player’s labbedorval and Zimmy41. She would go out first and take home just over $115,000 while labbedorval and Zimmy41 would be left to begin heads up play.

Once Zimmy41 got the lead and good cards it was time to go all in. labbedorval called and it was the wrong time to call as he was knocked out in second earning just over $169,000 while Zimmy41 got the large prize of just over $231,000.
