The poker room, Purple Lounge, recently signed a sponsor contract with an up and coming poker star. Stefan Mattsson of Sweden has signed a contract with the Purple Lounge that will have him playing in large international poker tournaments while representing the poker room. Stefan has seen recent success as he finished in second place at the World Poker Tour in Barcelona.

Stefan first stop as an associate of Purple Lounge will be back to Barcelona for the European Poker Tour which takes place this month. Stefan will also represent the Purple Lounge in the World Series of Poker in 2009. Stefan has won three straight cashes in the World Series of Poker.

Stefan is happy with his new sponsorship: “I couldn’t ask for a better site to represent, and I think this agreement will further reinforce my place in the poker world,” he stated. Stefan will be the main fixture of the Purple Lounge’s marketing plan for next year. This should benefit the Lounge as Stefan has become a highly respected poker player on an international level.

The Purple Lounge is also very excited to have Stefan on their team.
