Season Six of the long running poker television show High Stakes Poker will begin to film this October and November and the new episodes will begin to air this February. The show runs on the Game Show Network and features poker pros competing against each other.

Poker Productions are supposed to be producing the new season and players are set to meet in Las Vegas to begin filming. Poker fans should expect such poker pros as Barry Greenstein, Patrik Antonius, Doyle Brunson and Daniel Negreanu to participate in season six.

Tom Dwan should also be appearing in this season as he had a major role in season five. Dwan was part of two of the biggest post of season five and is certainly a hot commodity right now. Dwan has had a great few months and recently earned $1.1 million while filming the Full Tilt Million Dollar Cash Game.

It will be interesting to see if Dwan will be part of the best pots of this new season or is another poker pro will be taking the spotlight. I’m sure Dwan and Antonius will be going head to head at some point during season six as well.
