Online poker room Sky Poker has announced that after a successful inaugural UKOPS, they are now about to launch the UK Online Poker Series yet again. The series will be back at the end of the month with four special events instead of the regular eight events of the series.

The shorter version of the series will begin on December 27th and will continue each day until the 30th. The first event will be a £15,000 guaranteed event which will have a buy-in of £110. The next day will be a £10,000 guaranteed Double Stack even which will have the same buy-in amount but will have a 12 minute clock and 8,000 chip stack.

The third event will take place on the 29th and will be a £25,000 Bounty Hunter event. The bounty hunter events are very popular since players love the possibility of knocking out top players in the competition! The final event will be the UKOPS Xmas Main Event which has a guaranteed prize pool of £50,000. This event will have a buy-in of £220.

Satellites are running now so players can earn their way into each event without having to pay the large buy-in. Satellites range from £11 to £33 so players can pay a much lower buy-in to be able to earn a seat to the one of the main events.
