Sky Poker launches Santa’s Grotto tournament
Online poker room Sky Poker is celebrating the holiday season by offering the Santa’s Grotto event this week. Players will need to play in specific cash games over the next few days to be able to qualify to compete in the free roll which will take place on December 23rd.

Players will need to compete in the cash games before December 21st to earn a spot in the December 23rd free roll. The free roll will offer a prize pool of £3,000 and the first place finisher will earn a new 3D television with glasses to watch television in 3D.

Sky Poker released a statement on the new offering which read:

“With the festive season in full swing; online poker giant Sky Poker is spreading some extra Christmas joy this month with the release of its brand new promotion entitled Santa’s Grotto. Over £3,000 worth of fantastic prizes are up for grabs in the Santa’s Grotto free roll. Sky Poker customers can join the promotion by entering the code 'grotto' in the My Account tab in their home settings. New customers are also welcome to play by simply registering an account with Sky Poker and following the same instructions.”

Once players have completed the appropriate amount of cash games, Sky Poker will send them an invite the free roll via email or text message. The winner of the event is not the only one who will earn great prizes.

The runner up of the competition will earn an iPad2 plus cash while third place will get an Xbox 360 with a Kinect sensor and a cash prize. Fourth place will earn a digital camera as well as cash while fifth place will earn a Bose headphones set and cash prize.
