November 29th was the night the grand final of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour and Tony Cascarino earned his second GUKPT title win. Cascarino managed to outlast the field of 183 at the Victoria casino and earn a £168,800 payday.

Cascarino had to defeat Frenchman Antoine Arnault in heads up play before he could claim the win. Cascarino was able to come up with the win and he was very excited about it. His first GUKPT title came in 2008 during the Bolten leg of the tour.

Cascarino commented in the GUKPT blog: “Getting respect from your peers and being acknowledged for being good at whatever you do with your life means a lot to me…I think I have proved myself now.”

Second place finisher Arnault earned £107,100 and Philip Patrick finished in third place and earned £71,400. The Champion of Champions is underway now and it will be interesting to see who will take down the win.
