Woman Makes History on WSOP Circuit
Daphne ‘Tweety’ Turner has made World Series of Poker Circuit history by becoming the first woman to earn two WSOP Circuit rings. No woman has ever won two events in a single season of the WSOP Circuit and Turner is now in the record books.

The last stop of the 2009/2010 World Series of Poker Circuit season saw Turner earn her second ring at the New Orleans stop. Turner won in heads up play against Allen Kessler in the $300 plus $40 buy-in mixed game event which took place this past weekend. The event had 68 players competed.

Turner has made history before on the World Series of Poker Circuit. Just two years ago Turner became the first woman to win an open WSOP Circuit event. She gives her husband the credit of getting her started in the game of poker and she is hoping to compete in more events in the future including the 2010 World Series of Poker. It will definitely be interesting to see how well Turner does in the WSOP.
