World Series of Poker Main Event Criminal: David 'Chino' Rheem
The 2008 WSOP final table (scheduled for November, 2008) players have been decided, one of them being the well known poker player David 'Chino" Rheem. Rheem has quite a few achievements under his belt including a second place finish in a 2006 World Series of Poker No-limit event, a 5th place finish in a mixed Holdem event in the most recent WSOP as well as two wins in the Bellagio Friday-Saturday tournaments. Apparently Rheem is well known in a couple states for a few less flattering reasons.

In 2000, Rheem was convicted of burglary and dealing in stolen property (both felonies), and also larceny and possession of marijuana. For these crimes he was sentenced to 4 months in jail and thirty months of probation.

More recently in 2003, 'Chino' was scheduled to appear in Hollywood on a misdemeanor trespassing charge where he failed to appear. It is said that there has been a warrant out for his arrest since. Much speculation has been made over whether or not Rheem will be arrested during the WSOP final table event.

Although at final table Rheem may be the best well known name at the final table, he is not the only convict that blessed the WSOP with their presence. It was reported that there were players with criminal backgrounds such as drug dealers, murderers and child predators.
