WSOPE Main Event to Air on ESPN February 1st
ESPN has decided to air eight hours of World Series of Poker Europe Main Event footage beginning on February 1st. The footage was shot at the Casino at the Empire in London during last year’s WSOPE Main Event. This will be the first time the European version of the WSOP will air in the United States.

The first four episodes will begin at 6 pm ET and be followed by an encore of the episodes 1 and 2 on ESPN2 at 10 pm. The shows will be co hosted by Lon McEachern and Norman Chad.

ESPN will also be able to show the hole cards from key hands at many of the outer tables of the tournament as well as the feature table. This is due to the new Mobile Hole Card Camera innovation.

Doug White the ESPN senior director of programming and acquisitions commented: "The intimate look and feel of this tournament is different from other WSOP events we produced in the United States.” The WSOPE is played in a small club where players sit at tables in two different levels.

We of course think that our online poker guide features the best internet poker rooms available but if you are interested in learning more about this card game then Wikipedia has a number of pages about it, including Texas Holdem rules and hands. They also feature information on most other kinds of leading poker games. If you are interested in poker rakeback then Rakeback.org has it covered quite well.
